Everyone prefers to buy their ebooks from nice ebook stores, recognized companies and real writers, instead of trusting a strange who decided to become an author on the internet, without being a real expert on any matter.

This truth is applicable even if you are a real writer and your work is valuable, because nobody knows you in the beginning, and you have to do a lot before you are known, accepted, respected and trusted.

But let’s talk more about the competition you face on the internet, with billions of sites and strong companies that have capital and status quo standing in front of you. How can you beat that kind of competition?

There are “other ways”… Yes, blogs and other sites… but if you are serious about your business, you have to reach the large audience that lives outside the internet and uses it only when they need something.

How are you going to get enough traffic to your sales page? Who is going to care about reading your sales letter and first of all, how many souls will be able to find it, under so many pages that are more important than yours and have better ranking?

Don’t feel sad because I'm showing you the truth. Be realistic and properly prepared to face all the challenges beforehand, with all the information I’m giving you. I’m trying to protect you; I’m not telling you that you must completely forget the idea of selling ebooks online or that this business won’t give you money. I’m showing you that nothing is as simple as you may believe, because you see so many people talking about ebooks on the internet.

Everywhere you find lessons about how to create your own ebook, how to write an ebook in 3 days even if you have never written anything before in your life, how to find an impressing ebook cover, how important it is to show to the world that you are an expert in your field because you are an ebook author, how much you can achieve with one ebook online, etc…

So, you may believe that selling ebooks online is like selling water in a desert if you are far from reality, and you have never tried to sell your own ebooks before.

When someone talks about selling ebooks online, they will tell you that the only thing you need is a Paypal or Clickbank account, and that you can submit your ebook to many wonderful libraries. This is how you are going to sell them… How nice!

Nobody talks about all the problems you’ll have to face with so much competition on the internet. Nobody wants to open your eyes because otherwise, you may forget the idea of writing your own ebook for a long time, and they want to sell you their ebooks about how you can write an ebook too.

Last week one of the marketers that sends me regular messages with promotions, sent me a newsletter in which he was showing me the 30 steps everyone must take in order to promote their ebooks online! Not 5, nor 10, but 30 steps! Now, you can imagine how much you have to work if you want to be noticed…

If you are a real author and if you have something really important and useful to give to the world and you really want to write an ebook, care about preparing it very well, paying attention first of all to the keywords in your title, because this is how your potential customers are going to find it: thanks to the keywords you’ll use in its title.

Write what people want to read. Look for customers before preparing your product, so that you can write exactly what your audience is looking for.

Your Own Business on The Internet

Things really seem to be much simpler on the internet, because you don’t have to work very hard. You don’t have problems transporting things and you don’t have to have them stored anywhere. You simply use your computer’s files, and everything is very simple.

However, when you try to have your own business on the internet, you have to be realistic and understand that things work online the same way they do offline in many aspects, too many as a matter of fact, while the simplicity of everything online makes you believe that “everything” is very simple, which is not true at all.

I have already showed you the difficulty of convincing your visitors to purchase your merchandise without having any personal contact with them and I have already talked about all the details of a site; everything you will have to care about and all your responsibilities when you are a business owner.

But I’m sure that you are still looking at the internet as if it was much simpler than it really is if you use it trying to make money selling something, or offering your services online.

This is why I want to prepare you before you put your feet on this field.

You have probably learned that you can have affiliates selling your products on your behalf for example, which will make things much easier for you.

However, if your products are new and nobody cares about them, you won’t find affiliates that will care about selling your merchandise online. Of course the affiliates want to find products that sell for sure, instead of wasting their time and energy with unknown ones…

And you’ll also realize that even those that decide to help you sell your things or promote your services, simply put a link on their site showing yours, and that’s it.

If you want to have active affiliates that will really promote your products you have to give them many incentives, besides a very high commission, and you have to teach them about your products, always be in contact with them, etc. Nothing is simple…

You have probably learned also about joint ventures, where you promote someone else’s products and they do the same for you.

However, you have to waste a lot of time looking for the ideal business partners. You will be able to build a joint venture with the sites that want to cooperate with you only after a lot of searching and after being quite disappointed with the attitude of many people on many sites…

You have probably also learned about the power of email messages to your subscribers. “The money is in the list!” This is a very common phrase on the internet.

However, if your email messages are not convincing and first of all, if the titles of your messages don’t convince your readers to open them, you’ll have many subscribers that simply subscribe but never read anything. Then they will unsubscribe, because they are receiving many messages that they never care about reading… New ones will appear and disappear the same way, while other subscribers will keep reading your messages once in a while, and the sales you were dreaming of will never happen, or will happen only after a very long time.

You’ll have to wait until you find the right people, until the people that care about what you offer will be ready to take action, and you’ll mainly have to work hard on an email campaign that will be convincing enough, otherwise you will spend a lot of time preparing and sending messages, without any positive results for a long time.

This is why I suggest you start finding jobs online, and learn how everything works this way, instead of following the various marketers that will only make you spend money with their ebooks and tele-seminars, while teaching you things that are not exactly as they show you they are. They want to convince you that “everything is very easy” on the internet, so that you may enter in this field and try to make money online.

Marketers want to sell. They are not your friends, they don’t care about the way you feel or your psychological problems. They also don’t care if you are frustrated in the end and never make any money. Of course, they prefer to see you succeeding so that they can sell you more, but if you don’t really succeed in the end, they won’t cry for you…

Look at your business online the same way you would look at it if it existed offline and you would have to face all the problems of the hard work outside the internet, because the difficulties you’ll have online are many, and you will only be able to learn the right lessons and really succeed in the end if you are very serious and cautious.

Do You Know The Basics Before Making Your Own Website?

Dear friend, sorry for delaying so much on writing something for this blog, but as you know I’m a psychologist and I have to first of all help people find their mental health…

Of course, my work on this blog is related to your mental health, because money is a very important factor in your life. If you don’t have money, you cannot have any dignity and you will let your wild side dominate you in your despair. You will do foolish things and you’ll accept immorality without criticizing anything.

Without money you cannot live… You’ll put your survival before your moral principles and this will be very dangerous for you.

This is why I decided to create this blog, and help you make money online, giving you my advice. As you can see, I talk more about the dangers on the internet than about any other possibilities may you have, like everyone else…

Think about your site as if you were thinking about a store you own. You have to bring people to your store, otherwise you won’t sell your products.

If your store is already in a very good position and if it is already very well stocked, beautiful and practical, you won’t have too many difficulties in attracting visitors, while if it is far from the right prescriptions, it will be in a desert, and you will have to do too much in order to convince someone to visit it and care about what you may desire to sell…

Your website is your store. Care about putting it in a very good position from the beginning and pay attention to all the details, because everything is important.

Protect Your Mental Health, Your Money and Your Reputation

You have to be careful if you are a newbie…

This is not the advice of an internet guru of course, but the advice of a psychologist who decided to open your eyes and protect you, after being online for two and a half years, facing all the dangers of the internet and discovering all the lies of the marketers.

If you know nothing about html like me, and if you depend on other people to work for you, you have to be more than cautious, and always pay in escrow when you use sites like www.elance.com. Now they give you this option first of all, while when I first started there I couldn’t find it…

If you want to make a website in order to sell something, don’t try to make it yourself, because your site must be very well prepared in order to have a good ranking.

This is not only a question of appearance and the necessity to be professional: this is a matter of the basic fundamentals of your website.

If you are a newbie and you know nothing about the internet world, you may believe that you can easily make a website yourself and sell your own ebooks there for example, simply because your products are good.

The world will never find your website. You will be in a desert if you don’t have the right keywords in your home page, if your site is not search-engine friendly and a lot more. Don’t believe the marketers that tell you that it is very simple to make a website and start selling. Be careful!

You need safety in order to sell your products without being robbed first of all. And don’t try to sell anything directly from your website, accepting credit cards that you can’t verify. Sell the products on your website only through PayPal or Clickbank, because these companies guarantee you that you will really receive your money when someone decides to purchase your products.

There are very many tricks online and you may become a victim of them if you accept credit cards directly in your website, without the professional help of PayPal or Clickbank.

First of all, learn what is happening on the internet as an affiliate. Don’t create your own products before seeing how you can sell a product on the internet, even though most marketers encourage you to write your own ebooks and sell them to build your business, as if everyone would simply trust you and buy your ebooks, among so many others that seem to be much better than yours, because they have a better ecover and an entire marketing campaign far superior than yours.

Who are you, if you are beginning now?

The marketers don’t tell you how bad it is in the beginning. They push you to try doing what they want you to, without revealing to you all the dangers and the deceptions you have to face.

Only when you are already in the dance, will you see all the real difficulties you’ll have everyday in order to send visitors to your site, while in the beginning, before “phishing” you, all marketers promise you easy money, help from many affiliates, and many other things that don’t work in practice if you are a nobody on the internet and if nobody trusts your products.

You need to be trusted and you need traffic if you want to have your own business. Traffic is everything on the internet, because without visitors, there are no sales…

But how can you get all the visitors you need if you have to pay a fortune only for a single click, if you want to be on the first page of Google?

You have to use many methods to drive traffic to your site…

In this blog I’m talking about my own experiences, and trying to help you save your mental health, your money and your reputation, because it is much easier to lose a lot of money on the internet than to make a lot of money, independently of what you keep reading everywhere.

You can make good money, but you have to learn which methods really work and which are only fantasies, and especially, how to protect yourself from very serious failure on the internet, instead of solving all your financial problems as you had dreamed of.

As a psychologist I care for your mental health more than anything else, and if you lose all your money, of course you won’t be able to be a balanced and happy person…

The big illusion of making a lot of money very easily on the internet is too dangerous! The internet is not a game, it is real life, and you have to pay real money to make things work.

Learn how to avoid all the dangers with prudence!

You certainly can succeed if you are intelligent and serious in what you do. Pay attention to the smart solutions you’ll find, and don’t follow too many “opportunities” at the same time.

Be selective and study only what the good authors teach you, the ones that really give you useful information, without paying attention to those that promise you billions and luxury on auto-pilot, “while you are sleeping”. Before receiving the buyers’ visit and finally convincing them to buy from you what they want, you will have to spend many nights awake, looking for traffic and conversion solutions, because you have also to convert all your visitors into customers, besides sending them to your site.

Criticize all marketers; don’t simply believe their words. They are trying to sell… they want to convince you to do what they want without caring about your personal problems.

Only if you are cautious and intelligent, will you make billions and help many other people in this world with your generosity!

On the other hand, don’t become a statue that never does anything and never tries anything for being too afraid, because you will never learn anything this way.

You must really take action if you want to learn how the internet works, and I mean that you have to really start trying to sell something on the internet (begin at www.ebay.com like everyone else) if you want to understand the truth.

By only reading what the marketers say, you don’t really learn anything. You have to see how hard it is to sell something without a list, and even having a huge email list, because it is not easy to convince someone to buy what you sell, if you want to have real knowledge about how the internet works.

Everything is easy only if you are very cautious and very well organized.

You have to have the right products, the ones that people want to buy, and not the ones that you want to sell. Find several different small niches on the internet and provide exactly what they are looking for, if you want to make money. They won’t buy whatever you may desire to sell them, no matter how hard you may try to convince them to.

Don’t believe the marketers that tell you that you can sell “anything” on the internet and that you can even write an ebook about your hobby and make a lot of money with it, because there are so many users on the internet that of course some people among them will care about what you sell, because you’ll have many difficulties even trying to sell them what they really want.

Before creating your products, look for what people care about typing your main keywords at sites that give you information about what people are looking for in the search engines and verify if there is real interest on what you intend to sell. Verify also how much competition you have to face.
